sacrament numero uno

mary was baptized two weeks ago at our parish. it was a simple, beautiful experience for us all...just us, an empty church and fr joey, one of our parish priests. mary quietly participated and graciously allowed me to dress her in a bonnet (which kirby made fun the whole night).
i was so moved to think of the grace God gives to us through baptism, and so thankful i can give that to my girls even when they are teeny tiny.
