true story

kirby gets annoyed at me for never capitalizing anything. i bet you do, too.

well, somehow my high school computer class failed to teach me the essential skill of holding down the shift key to capitalize. i always just hit 'caps lock' on and off, on and off, on and off. it is a tiresome task.

a few years ago kirby was watching me type and i heard him say, "are you kidding me right now?"

"what?!"

(apparently you are not supposed to hit 'caps lock' on and off, over and over, in order to capitalize. kirby thought this was pretty hilarious.)

but learning how to type in a whole new way seemed much to arduous for me. kinda like when the dentist told me i had to learn how to swallow differently so that my front teeth wouldn't stick out. i say give me the sticky outtie teeth.

so there it is. true story.

and now, this cute photo.

  1. I had to do that swallow thing when I was 8. It's called Lifesavers Therapy or something like that. You get a lifesavers candy, stick it on the roof of your mouth, place your tongue in the center and suck on it. It trains your tongue not to push on your front teeth when swallowing. I'm still kinda sick of fruity Lifesavers, though. But I no longer have bucked teeth.

  2. i like typing in all lower case. sure, most of the time i hit the shift key out of habit, (i aced my computer classes, hehe), but i believe that not taking the time to care about it goes along with your whole "be free" mentality. and, it's a fabulous attitude to have. :-)

  4. -Are you kidding me right now? Haha, sounds like Kirby. Love it. Lower case typing almost has a style to it. Like when a rad font only type in caps. It's a visual thing. Also, I want to frame that pic of your girls and put it up in my house. I absolutely love it!

  6. How did I miss this post? Hilarious! (the caps) It's amazing that you didn't ask me or dad if your teacher was correct. Maybe you did and we ignored you!
